New Owners

As some of you may know, I started Airyfairy in May 2010 – some 7 and a half years ago, from my home kitchen, we then had five wonderful years in our lovely Didsbury shop and then 18 months ago moved to huge commercial premises in Stockport.

During that time I’ve met some amazing people, both customers, employees and other business owners – many have become friends over the years and part of our lives. Not in just running the business but also getting married, moving house and having our own little Airyfairy Ethan back in December (Christmas Eve!).

I’ve loved building the business and catering for some amazing events, people and occasions. However I’ve decided it’s time for me to hand over the whisk, apron and Chief Airyfairy hat.

Maternity ‘leave’ when you’re self employed isn’t easy and so I’m pleased to now be able to take some valuable time off to be with family and friends who have all supported throughout the last 7 years.

Fear not, Airyfairy is a very successful business and one which is about to get even better as the new owner Molly, who some of you will have spoken to or met, will be taking over on 1st September and who has some brilliant ideas.

Molly has worked for Airyfairy for over two years and has made the majority of cakes we have produced during that time. So please do be assured of the same quality and a wider range of ideas coming out in the near future. Please wish her luck and continued success.
